Making a Vintage Butterfly Display

After buying this $5 Martha Stewart shadowbox at Tuesday Morning (months ago . . . maybe it was last year?) I finally hit on the inspiration for making perfect use of it. Shutterfly was giving away some 5×7 prints not too long ago  and I printed these lovely butterfly prints I downloaded from Vintage Printable. Problem was, the original public domain book pages were not 5×7 size and I was in too much of a hurry to notice that when I placed my order. Consequently, some of the pictures cropped out parts of the butterflies’ wings and antennae. So, long story short, I cut out some of the butterflies and mounted them in the shadowbox. The color of the box matches the wall color perfectly, and really makes the butterfly colors pop. This is what I call a happy ending.
