So I thought these would be a disaster, after they started breaking off the sticks. Back into the freezer they went, then dipped into the candy coating. I perhaps made them too large, which contributed to the difficulty. I followed this recipe, used a coupon at Michaels for the candy coating, and got the rest on sale at Walmart or Publix. They were really, really tasty. I thought they’d be sorta disgusting, but they were great! (I did use my favorite icing recipe, instead of the canned version called for in the original recipe.)
And mine of course are way lumpy. Oil added to the candy coating really helped, but I probably should have put more in. But still . . . soooo tasty!
